PCA Driver Ed event at the Autobahn Country Club near Joliet, IL. This is my second attempt to drive this track and I finally got a full day in here. With over 20 corners it does take a while to learn the track. The on and off drizzle most of the day didn't help much anyway.

My initial impression was that the track is too slow with not enough long straights or fast corners but it does offer some interesting challenges. There are some very tricky corners here.

My lap times were in the 3:19-3:22 range. I know I'm leaving a ton of time on the track and I know a couple more days here and my lap times will be down considerably.

I didn't get a good sample from Harry's Lap Timer at this event but something I tried was using my Garmin Forerunner 405 while driving. The results are "interesting".
