Clear Marker Lights

This is probably the easiest hack ever as the only tools necessary are a pair of hands. I always thought the orange side marker lights looked odd since both the front and rear turn signals are clear with orange bulbs.

I ordered the parts from Pelican Parts. The OEM Hella marker lights do come with the orange light bulbs.

Installation is simple. Just pull out the marker light from the wheel well. The marker lights are held in with only a spring loaded clip. Once pulled out you just squeeze on the metal retaining clip then pull the connector off the marker light. It takes a little bit of force but pulls off easily. Look at the new lights to see what stays on the marker light.

Too funny that you purchased this car in DEN. I live there....
I have a 996 C4s and for years now I have not had a garage door opener integrated in the car. Sucks having it on the visor and it falling on my all the time....

Did you do a hack for this one too?

How about placing it next to the PASM switch and others?

also did you know that there is a LED light available for your and my car that goes in the bumper and at night makes it look like a 997 or a really wicked 996. Let me know if you find anything about it.

Lastly any thoughts on getting a roof rack and a bike rack for your car?

Cheers,
AM
