Yellow's Day at the Track
Blackhawk Farms Raceway - September 13, 2000

I thought the Grattan event would be my last of the year so I took my 911 in to the body shop for damage to the clearcoat. But since it rained all day the second day I was itching to go drive again and I realized I had a "spare" Porsche! When I found out there was room at the event I went!

I always say that part of the fun of these events is to see what cool cars people bring. Once again I was not disappointed. Someone brought a Ferrari 355 Spider. Unfortunately the owner did not take it out on the track. It still looked cool though.

I put the IO Port camera mount in the Boxster using Trygve's excellent method documented at http://www.bombaydigital.com/pages/boxster/photos/slides_009.html. The following is one loud lap around the track. It drove me nuts how much noise these P-Zeros make versus the Kumhos and Yokohama A032Rs I've been using on my 911!
