![]() | Yellow's Day at the Track Gingerman Raceway - November 14, 1998 |
On November 14, 1998 my friend John convinced me to join him at GingerMan Raceway in South Haven, Michigan for a day of high speed fun!My stock '99 Boxster with 16" wheels worked surprisingly well. This was my first time on a track ever and I managed to keep up with a lot of people, and even managed to pass an NSX at one point!
I'm finally done converting the high quality, but VERY large QuickTime files to RealVideo streams appropriate for 28.8K modem users. Click on the top of the thumbnail for QuickTime, the bottom for RealVideo.

Luckily it was only a burst heater hose. A trip to a car parts store and he was back on the track for a few more laps before calling it a day.

The other pictures are of an M3, 318ti, Corvette, Nissan something or another as well as my instructor about to take off in his Fiat. We were sharing the track with a small group of F4 drivers that were also fun to watch.
