Amphibico MV1 and Canon Optura

More recently I picked up an Amphibico Explorer MV1 housing for the Canon Optura miniDV camcorder I already had. I also looked around and settled for the Amphibico 101S video light. It's fairly inexpensive and will do until I can find something better. Before I go all out and spend a ton of money on a better light I'll have to figure out if I like underwater video. This equipment has been used on a couple dive trips and has worked quite well. There are on-line manuals for both the MV1 Housing and the 101S video light available.

I have recently added the upgraded 30W bulb and the color correcting filter. The upgraded bulb does seem to make a difference. It's still only useful under ledges or or other dark areas but the colors are a little bit richer. The color correcting filter is something I still haven't gotten figured out.

This equipment has been SOLD.
