This is my personal experience, yours may vary, but if you are considering buying Suunto watches, especially their new series of dive watches, I strongly recommend you read this!Back in April 2001 I purchased a Suunto Advizor watch, what I thought was a great watch that featured a heart rate monitor, altimeter, barometer and a variety of other functions. As I participate in a lot of sports this interested me. It was a very light weight watch and didn't seem very substantial but it worked so life was good. I liked it so much that I was eagerly awaiting Suunto to release their Mosquito dive watches for when I scuba dive. They are made of a similar design.
Then in May of 2001 the watch broke!!! I don't know what happened but I was sitting in a taxi when I felt something in the sleeve of my jacket. I roll up my sleeve only to find the bezel of the watch fall out! I tried to pop it back on but found the four tiny screws that held it to the rest of the watch had fractures around the holes. My first impression was that I must have hit it. I thought long and hard yet I could not remember hitting the watch against anything.
