Notes
This was a shallower dive with LOTS of cool coral. A very large French Angelfish followed me for much of the dive. The divemaster got everyones attention and had us swim away from the reef. Shortly after that a very large Spotted Eagle Ray became visible in the distance. It had to be about 8 feet across. It swam past us about 25 feet away, then made a u-turn and came around for another pass. It was amazing to see such a large animal swim by without making a sound.

I used the Nikonos this time. I don't have a strobe for it yet so all the pictures turned out quite blue.

This dive started out pretty uneventful, except for this huge French Angelfish following me around for about 10 minutes.

Late into the dive our divemaster got our attention and directed us to swim away from the reef. Shortly we saw in the distance a huge Spotted Eagle Ray coming towards us! It had to be about 8 feet across! I took several shots, but since this was my first time with the Nikonos, only this one turned out at all.

Here the divemaster found something buried in the sand. I think it's called a Sand Dollar.

I was just goofing around with the camera and got this weird shot of other divers just hanging there in the water as we drift towards another part of the reef.

My only decent close-up shot with the Nikonos on this dive. I think this is a Margate.
