Notes
We didn't plan on diving on this trip but the trip to Samana was pretty boring so we decided that our best option is to just leave the kids on the ship in Kids Club and signed up to dive in Tortola.

We chose the "advanced" wreck dive trip as it sounded more interesting. The wreck of the RMS Rhone is a short boat ride from the cruise ship port and in only about 70' of water near the small Salt Island where the Rhone sunk in 1867. Considering it's been there 141 years it's in remarkably good shape. Most of the ship is completely encrusted in wonderful corals and there are large open sections for easy swim throughs. As much as this was for "advanced" divers only the crowd we ended up with was very much a mixed bag. We split up into two groups and bobbed on the surface for a very long time while we waited for some of the divers to get their "issues" resolved. In the end three divers ended up sitting out the dive for various issues.

Unfortunately the visibility on this day wasn't great with a lot of crud in the water. There were also fewer fish than we expected in this area and nothing "exceptional" but still much more interesting than staying on the cruise ship.
