Finally (???) the end of the trip. As great as it was it's been a long time. The final stop was Barcelona where we arrived early in the morning but planned to spend the night in Barclona so we could spend the day enjoying this wonderful city with the kids.

We found out there was a kid friendly amusement park at the top of one of the hills overlooking the city and we decided to check it out. Unfortunately we made the trek there only to find it was closed on Mondays. Bummer.

We had a nice lunch back in the city and just walked around the La Rambla to check out the sights. Just down the street was La Boqueria, basically a high end farmer's market. They have stands with all sorts of mostly food vendors. Our kids enjoyed getting some nice fruit smoothies and we got some sandwiches and other snacks. Very cheap and a great selection.

La Rambla is the main street in the middle of the touristy section of Barcelona. It's lined with small cafes, stalls selling everything from flowers, snacks to pets (bunnies, birds, etc.). It was crowded and very lively and not too cheesy.

After that we ended up just going back to the hotel and crashed early. Oh well, we were tired.
