Kurfürstendamm

Our hotel was located on a street called Kurfürstendamm, which to me looks very similar to Michigan Ave. here in Chicago. It contains hotels, restaurants and mostly high end shops.

The main square has the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church which was heavily damaged during World War II and apparently Berliners preferred to not rebuild it. Lily liked some of the shops nearby, especially the KaDaWe department store just down the street.
