I didn't use that many books to help plan the trip but the ones below are the few that I did find useful. I hope you find them as useful as I did. I also included several links below to websites mentioned elsewhere on this web site as well as other links to histrical information about the sites I discussed.

Books

More info! Moon Handbooks: Texas 4th Edition This book covers all of Texas and has fairly detailed hisotrical information about the sites in each area. It also has excellent maps.	More info! Lonely Planet Texas 1st Edition Another typically excellent travel guide. I didn't happen to use this book this time.

More info! Frommer's San Antonio & Austin 4th Edition I didn't take this book with me (forgot it at home) but I did browse it before I left and found it useful.	Show Matches! All books about The Alamo at Amazon.com There are just too many books to list! Amazon.com lists 91 books with The Alamo in the title.

Web Sites

The Alamo
	The official website of The Alamo put up by the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Contains amazingly little content, but listed here just to make sure you knew about it.
Texas State Aquarium
	The official site of the Texas State Aquarium. Lots of Flash (just warning you to expect slow downloads) and also very little content.
USS Lexington
	Of course the U.S.S. Lexington has it's own official site. It has some info and history as well as a $1 off coupon you can print out.
