As much as I normally hate sites built as tourist destinations the River
Walk was quite pleasant and the restaurants we visited were very good.
I started by walking across downtown to the far northern tip of the River
Walk and was going to walk back along the river to my hotel. Unfortunately
the north end was being renovated.
