We used several books to plan this trip and many websites. We used both resources extensively after the trip to learn more about the sites we visited. There are several fantastic coffee table books that have the most amazing photos of wildlife in the Galapagos which I recommend to anyone.

More info! Lonely Planet Ecuador & the Galapagos Isalnds Known as "The Bible" by the locals in Quito as tourists won't travel without it.	More info! Reef Fish Identification : Galapagos From the makers of the best series of fish identification books anywhere and this is definitely no exception. This is the book to have to figure out what you saw after a dive.

More info! Marine Life of the Galapagos Another indispensible guide to animals in the Galapagos. This one goes into more than just the fish and a great companion to the other books.	More info! Galapagos: Islands Born of Fire An amazing coffee table book with some of the best pictures of Galapagos wildlife and terrain anywhere. A must own book.

More Info! Galapagos : Ocean, Earth, Wind & Fire The best coffee table book about the Galapagos. Unfortunately Amazon doesn't currently have it but the Charles Darwin Foundation does offer it for sale and the proceeds support their very important work.	More info! Galapagos (IMAX) DVD An interesting video made in the Galapagos Islands. This covers mostly the deep water life of the seas around the Islands that most of us will never see.

The Voyage of the Beagle by Charles Darwin As naturalist on the surveying voyage in the southern hemisphere of HMS Beagle 1831-6, Charles Darwin made the observations leading to his theory of modification of species. In this book he relates his voyages to the southern hemisphere.	More info! The Origin of Species by Charles Darwin This is indeed one of the most important and influential books ever written, and it is one of the very few groundbreaking works of science that is truly readable.

Peter Hughes Diving Inc.
	Official website for Peter Hughes Diving Inc. Great operator of excellent live-a-boards around the world.
Ecoventura
	The website for Ecoventura, the Ecuadorian company which owns and operates the Sky Dancer live-a-board as well as other non-diving related operations in the Galapagos.
Charles Darwin Foundation
	This is the website for the organization that operates the Charles Darwin Research Station which houses the zoo and conducts research on re-populating the varios species on the Islands that have been nearly wiped out.
Casey & Ben Photos
	Casey and Ben put their excellent photos of our trip on Shutterfly. They have photos of Quito, Hacienda/Highland as well as the live-a-board.
Galapagos Islands Gallery
	An excellent website I found while planning my trip that has absolutely mouth watering pictures of another group's trip to the Galapagos Islands on the Aggressor liveaboard.
Galapagos Main Page
	This website appears to be a collection of location scouting photos of the Galapagos for the movie Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.
ECHENG.COM: Travel Photography and Journals
	And excellent collection of travel photos, mostly dive trips, taken by a photography enthusiast. This guy has been to Galapagos several times and has some amazing photos. One of his trips was the week after I was there.
