Shore Excursion to Isla Floreana

Another shore excursion in the Galapagos to Punta Cormorant on Floreana Island. This island is one that's actually inhabited but we visited a part that was not. Here the highlights were seeing some fairly large Hermit Crabs on land and native pink Flamingos. We also noted how different the terrain is of each island. Some of the plants and even some of the animals are only found one island only which we thought was interesting.

This excursion was ok. We spent a lot of time watching the Flamingos from a great distance. After that we worked our way to a nice beach on the other side of the island where we enjoyed watching a lot of Sally Lightfoot Crabs and enjoying the great views.
