Fourth Day at Snowmass Mountain

Return to Snowmass Mountain. When we arrived we were bummed because it was overcast at first but it wasn't long until the snow started to fall. We decided to take an early lunch and let the snow fall. After lunch there was plenty of great powder.

We then spent most of the rest of the day exploring the trees around the Big Burn lift. There was plenty of fun to be had. We got stuck in the deep powder a few times but most of the time it was amazing.

At one point we accidentally found ourselves in a black diamond run called Garret Gulch. It was steep, narrow and tons of moguls but we still made it down without too much trouble. The highlight of the day was definitely the runs among the trees. Near the end of the day I lost it between the trees and slid under a tree. I was stuck in about 3' of powder and it took me a while to dig and crawl my way out. Fun stuff.

Great action video of Lily carving up ther mountain.  I would definitely say that her snowboarding has improved.

Lily you need to stay away from Greg and Mark and snowboard with someone who is gonna help.

Lauren loves that "Barbie Girl" sound track.
I'm glad she likes it.  I thought Blink-182 was overused for Snowboarding videos so I chose something as different as I had in my music collection
