Greg's Yellow Boxster Snapshots

There are a lot more pictures at the Yellow's day at the track and My First Concours pages.

A lot of people have asked me where I found the cupholders that fit in the vents as shown below. I got them at Clair Parts Express. You do have to make sure that your version of the Boxster has the necessary holes on the perimiter of the A/C vents for the cupholders to clip into. The part numbers are:

CUP HOLDER LEFT AIR VENT 986-552-183-00-01C
CUP HOLDER RIGHT AIR VENT 986-552-184-00-01C
Mine are now for sale so let me know if you would like to buy them. They'll be going on eBay shortly.

And of course, there is the original cupholder that no longer comes with the car, so I had to buy on my own. Funny, it seems to work fine for me.

I don't like the front license plate, so I painted the plugs from Dane Boren (dboren@infowest.com)

Here the car is going up on the lift in preparation of the harness installation.

The muffler is clearly visible here at the far rear of the car.

A little oil is around the oil drain bolt and the oil filter. I hope that's just from the recent oil change.

Nice shot of the complete underside of the car. There is a plastic cover that was already removed otherwise the underside would be almost completely flush.

View of car with harness installed. Imagine the looks I got driving home with those.

The shoulder belts just wrap around the roll bar.

The outboard lap belt connects to the original seat belt mount.

The inboard lap belt unfortunately required punching a hole through the carpeting and steel and installing a bolt that won't get in the way of the seat.

Here the group is gathered around a Boxster as Chris is going over some of the technical details that aren't in the manual.

Only some of the Boxsters that were at the event.

And some of the Boxster owners that were in attendance.
