Disney Magic Kingdom

Very hot day. Didn't spend that much time at this park since everyone was ready to pass out from the heat within a few hours. We noticed the castle had a crane on it when we got there. Our first thought was are they tearing it out to build condos? Sorry, inside joke.

We tried to do as many different activities as possible compared to the last time we were here. Pirates of the Caribbean is promoted on Disney Channel a lot so my 4 year old wanted to do the ride. She was terrified, especially when the ride stopped for about 5 minutes. The pirate skit done right outside the ride was very funny and more small kid friendly.

The Disney anniversary thing is over so apparently the crane was fixing up the castle after removing the extra decoration that was on the castle last year. There was also no Cinderella Crowning show on this particular day.

We did of course watch the 3pm parade. It was hot. So hot in fact that my wife broke down and bought one of those $17 spray bottles with a fan to keep us cool(er). The parade itself was ok but lacked some of my daughter's favorite characters. Fortunately she did see those characters later at Epcot and MGM.

After suffering through the heat for about a half hour we decided to just call it a day and followed the parade to the front and left the park. From there we did what I wished we could do every day, we left the park and got some great Sushi outside the park.
