The Blue Waves was a much larger boat with state rooms below as well as two above the galley. There was also adequate outdoor space but since it was so cold during most of the trip we didn't make much use of them.
The best part about the boat was the crew. The chef always made very tasty and artfully arranged meals. The food was usually Egyptian and always delicious. The crew also fished at times and they caught a couple fish which we would have that night for dinner.
The weather on the Red Sea at the end of January and early February was
surprisingly cold. Temperatures at night got down into the 50s and daytime
temps some days barely got out of the 60s. Not exactly comfortable diving
weather but at least the water was warmer than the air.
