Greg's Porsche Boxster : Sheridan Road

"Sheridan Road" is a commonly referred to the section of Sheridan Road that passes through the towns of Glencoe and Winnetka north of Chicago. While much of Sheridan Road as it passes through the ritzy northern suburbs along Lake Michigan is schenic, the best part for driving is a short 3.6 mile section between Tower Road at the South end and Lake Cook Road at the North end. The Tower Road section is approximately 20 miles north of downtown Chicago.

Greg's Review

It's a fun little road. Watch out for cops, but there isn't any room for them to hide in the middle of the really twisty stuff, but be very careful during the straight parts. It's a very afluent area, so there are a lot of patrol cars. One recent time through I was tailgated by a cop for several minutes just before entering the twisty parts, and then again just after by another cop.
